So I'm trying this special. $5 for a caricautre sketch of anyone. You, a person in your family, a friend, a pet,a stop sign lol. Anyone.

So this is madeleine bloom. She is a very talented singer/songwriter.

She has a new album coming out soon. 'Minutia' is the alubm name.

I asked her if I could do some advertising graphic designs for her upcoming album and she said yes. So I'm hoping that not only will this be work for my portfolio but maybe another good way to get my name out there as a graphic designer. Here's hoping.

So I wanted to write an entry today,BUT have not scanned a lot of artwork into my computer. So here's some old art and 2 Graphic Design entries for my Portfolio. The first one I call "Girl with the Umbrella" Such an original title. I know haha. The second one is just a Graphic Design I did for Mountain Dews Code Red drink.
The last one is a panel taken out "Batman: Jokers Asylum." In the Process of redrawing it as we speak.

17th is when school starts. Which means getting up at 3-4 to get to school on time....8! Need to start going to sleep earlier.

Still doing art. Hope to post more soon :)

Okay so here is some new art. The first three are sketches I did to try and get rid of my drawing block. The last is a gift I did for Scott Forbes. His character "Matilda." I wanted to do it as a thank you. So I drew her and then water colored her hair and necklace. Then went over her hair with a brown marker. Then went in Photoshop and colored her skin.
Still a lot of work to be done on her but I have grown very impatient with her right now lol or not really her but Photoshop. Its taken hours just to get the skin the color I wanted. And trust me it took so much thinking to get it that way. Smudging,Blurring, layering,Dropping opacity, mixing. AHHH! haha. But good experience. Anyway. I will probably either leave her hair and necklace alone or color them. Dont know yet. And Color her dress. Then I will add a background and BAM! :)

So there we go :)

It's been a good birthday :)
I'm afraid I have no art for today :( I'm about to get started on some now.
I'm getting ready for fall semester. Paying for classes and getting schedules down.
I'm taking my first art class at VSU. Very excited about it.
Kinda nervous and scared haha, but for the most part it should be a blast.
I will be posting art sometime soon :)
Just wanted to put my thoughts down :)

This is an image that I recently did in PhotoShop. I am trying to learn more about perception when it comes to drawing environment. So I decided to draw a snowy mountain and a nice little pond. I added the rain and steam for extra effects.
This is a very quick, little messy, but none the less I am happy with it.
Done with trackpad. Had fun with it.

After I posted my last entry I realized my sketch book is full of art that I had not phoned in. So I took some pictures of them to include in a new blog.
A lot of them were just sketches. I was trying to get out of a drawing block.
The little girl with her tongue out is the little sister from I lUV Halloween.
Now back to drawing

I used to be a frequent blogger. So why have I stopped lately? I need to keep it up. I am continuing to draw, but have not posted much due to the fact my scanner is not working at the moment.
So to keep from having a totally naked entry I've posted a couple of my fashion designs for viewing pleasure. (once again with camera phone :)

Oh and I also bought The Art of The Lord of the Rings. It's super!!!!!

So any way here we go people. I'm going to try and keep this thing alive.

The above image is the one I drew. It actually turned out better than I thought it would.
P.S. I intentionally made her hand like that. I wanted some part of her to be strange and abstract-ish. So I thought I would kinda morph her hand a little.

I just drew a random guy smoking a nice cigarette. I don't know why but he reminds me of the guy on Cowboy Bebop. Hum? Anyway....

Drew this one after listening to Kaboom-Lady Gaga. Great song. The chorus is very addicting. But yea anyway hearing the lyrics made me think of this. So I quickly grabbed my pencil, pen and paper and drew it out. Definitely have plans of redrawing.

So yes. My scanner is broken. So the only way I have of getting my art on the computer is via Cellphone camera. Luckily I can do that.
So anyway I am still drawing and still having fun.
But now summer semester has started and I am taking Bio :(
Hard class during a regular semester, but when you cut that semester in half...haha.
So don't know how much I will be drawing.
But I'll stay in touch :)
